Job summary

A very rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Lead Physiotherapist to join our Care Community Teams within the Neighbourhood Based Care Group, working across Western Cheshire.

This is a split role with the successful candidate being expected to carry a clinical caseload within one of our Care Community Teams, and also a leadership aspect, providing clinical leadership and support to our physiotherapists across our teams and providing advice and expertise to our Care Community and Service Managers to support the development of our services.

We are looking for an experienced and well motivated Physiotherapist with excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills who has previous community experience to join our multidisciplinary teams.

As the role involves the assessment and treatment of patient's within their own home, access to transport for work purposes is essential.

Main duties of the job

Providing expert assessment and treatment of patients within their own environment using a broad range of therapeutic assessment techniques.

To carry a varied clinical caseload and provide person centred care.

The supervision of junior staff and students.

To provide leadership to Physiotherapists working across all teams.

To provide clinical leadership, expertise and advice to colleagues and Team Managers

To support and lead on quality improvement and represent CWP in appropriate internal and external forums

  • Hold or be working towards Master's degree in specialist area or evidence of relevant specialised, validated postgraduate courses/CPD at Masters level
