Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Mental Health Support Team in Macclesfield and provide clinical and managerial supervision to a range of trainee and qualified practitioners supporting local schools with early intervention and prevention.

Main duties of the job

We are looking to recruit a Clinical Coordinator to the wave 3 of the Mental Health Support Teams (MHST's). Successful applicant will join the wider teams from earlier waves in setting up and establishing MHST's as part of the Access function within Cheshire's CWP CAMHS.

As Clinical Coordinator you will manage day to day running of the service and support the Clinical Leads in service delivery. You will also provide supervision and clinical leadership for those in the team including the Education Mental Health Practitioners in training.

We would be particularly keen to interview practitioners with experience in providing clinical supervision in any of the CYP IAPT therapeutic modalities such as CBT, Parenting or Systemic Family Therapy. Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate a high level of clinical skill and experience and show ability to work in multiagency setting, especially schools. Driving is an essential part of the role.

  • Core profession (Social Care, Nursing, Allied Health Professional and Clinical Psychologists)
  • Recognised degree level broad based health & social care qualification which will require completion of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) Knowledge and Skills Attributes https://www.babcp.com/Accreditation /CBP/KSA.aspx
  • Professional registration with recognised National body (HCPC, NMC, BACP, BABCP, BASW, TRA)
  • CYP IAPT Post Grad qualification in Supervision
