Job summary

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) in collaboration with our Primary Care Networks (PCNs) are excited to be rolling out the first wave of the mental health Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS). These roles have been created as part of the NHS Long-Term Plan and mental health community transformation to put clinicians with mental health experience directly within primary care networks.

The funding for these roles is an exciting partnership between CWP and the PCNs as they are funded jointly between the two. The person will be directly employed by CWP but jointly managed and supported by CWP and the PCN in what will be a new, collaborative way of working. Most of the PCNs within the CWP footprint are part of this project and as such we are advertising numerous roles across the footprint at various grades. As such, all adverts are live at the same time with a fixed closing date and will be recruited in one drive.

With this in mind we are encouraging people to only apply for one vacancy for the band/role but state clearly in the opening part of their "supporting information" section the PCNs they are interested in being considered for. If there is more than one appropriate person for a post the highest scoring applicant at interview will be offered the position with the second candidate being offered their second option. Therefore, we really encourage people to consider all the roles we are advertising and their locations.
