Job summary

The completion of daily cleaning duties, monitoring stock levels, maintaining quality standards. Providing support to nursing team. Completing Mattress audit. Ensuring cleaning standards are adhered to.

Main duties of the job

Exciting opportunity has arisen on Ward 5 at HRI for someone who has a keen eye for detail and good at organising. We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our team providing a high standard of care to our patients, and have pride in maintaining our working environment. The role is vital for the smooth running of the ward. Housekeeper roles will include: The delivery of cleaning, stocking up and monitoring stock levels. Monitoring quality standards, reporting deficiencies and recommending appropriate changes.

Desirable

  • Customer care certificate in food hygiene
  • Health and social care course
  • NVQ Level 2 Housekeeping

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE

Essential

  • Literacy skills
  • Ability to work in a busy environment
  • Ability to ensure the cleanliness, tidiness and efficiency of the ward
  • Ability to maintain satisfactory level of attendance

Desirable

  • Previous experience of dealing with patients and relatives
  • Previous employment within a Healthcare setting
  • Awareness of CHFT policies and procedures.
