Job summary
This post is a key role in the transformation and modernisation of the Workforce Business Intelligence service, andwill directly support the Head of Workforce Business Intelligence to provide an effective workforce information service within the Workforce and Organisational Development Directorate, offering proactive and innovative solutions with complex workforce information.
Main duties of the job
To act as deputy to the Head of Workforce Business Intelligence and ensure a comprehensive and quality Workforce BI, workforce planning, and information service is provided across the
The post-holder will act as a specialist with regards to the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) system, and support planning, delivery and evaluation of ESR, including:-
- Establishment Control
- ESR Self Service
- Business Intelligence
- Oracle Learning Management (OLM)
To administer and support ad hoc projects through the provision of high-quality workforce data as required by the service.
To provide ESR system administration and to support driving forward improvements in workforce information computer systems with an emphasis on high quality user-friendly
To deputise for the Head of Workforce BI and represent the Workforce BI team/Workforce and Organisational Development Directorate over a range of projects, working groups, committees, and meetings as required.
To manage and respond to Workforce Organisational Development FOI requests.
To develop ESR BI dashboards for the service, or other ESR users as required, and promote the use of Business Intelligence information across the Trust. Extracting, manipulating, and analysing complex data sets obtained from diverse sources, to develop systems and support collection and supply of changing external information requirements.
