Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Locum Consultant in Anaesthetics to join our team for a fixed term period of 12 months.
The successful candidate will join a team of friendly and dynamic Anaesthetic Consultants. We are dedicated to developing the department, team and working towards the wider organisational goals and culture.
The current job plan is based around sessions in Anaesthesia and participation in the out of hours service.
This is an exciting time to be joining the trust, as plans to reconfigure are under way.

To provide a high standard of care to any patient for whom you have clinical responsibility.
The successful applicant will take part in the general on call rota, either at Calderdale or Huddersfield depending on service requirements and prior discussion with the Clinical Directors.
Surgical specialties provided by the Trust include ENT, Trauma & Orthopaedics, General, Ophthalmic, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Upper GI (including Bariatrics), Urological (including laparoscopic resections), Colorectal, Robotic and Plastic surgery. Some paediatric work is undertaken within these specialties.
