Job summary
TheClinical Midwifery Manager for communitywill use midwifery knowledge and leadership/managerial skill to provide clinical leadership, facilitate professional development and operationally manage community midwifery teams.
The post holder will have a key role in supporting maternity services to drive forward, implement and embed the Better Births agenda.Working closely with both Birth Centres to ensure an integrated service for women experiencing low risk pregnancies.

Calderdale and Huddersfield is looking for a dynamic leader, with previous community experience to lead and manage a team of community midwives. You will work closely with the Matron and Birth Centres Manager as well as the multi-disciplinary team to implement the Better Births agenda and maintain a safe, high quality maternity service that is family centred and meets individual need.
Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust has a full time permanent post available in Calderdale.
Please not that as the Trust is progressing the implementation of Continuity of Carer teams, the post holders line management responsibility may change.
