Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 7 Clinical Lead Physiotherapist within the Acute Therapies team at Calderdale and Huddersfield Foundation Trust.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking Physiotherapist with a special interest in Acute Therapies and complex discharge planning, who has excellent therapeutic skills and a sound knowledge of treating medical patients.
You will need to have substantial, previous experience as a Band 6 or Band 7 Physiotherapist, confident in treating complex medical patients (including respiratory patients), be able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills and experience of working in a relevant clinical field.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join the CHFT therapies team and work closely with multi-disciplinary colleagues to provide assessment and treatment of medical patients. They will play in a leading therapy role in the implementation of Reason to Reside and will be provided with the opportunity to complete the CHFT Leadership Programme.
About us
You will work in a supportive team with other experienced clinical leads in a range of specialities and will also have the guidance and support of team leads as well as the inpatient therapy service manager. We support student training at CHFT and have excellent links with university collegaues. CHFT is situated in West Yorshire and has excellent transport links to Manchester and Leeds so is in an idea location along the M62 corridor.
