Job summary

The successful applicant will join our Immunisation Team whose role is to deliver immunisations as part of the Department of Health (DH) School Aged VaccinationProgramme

Main duties of the job

To deliver the school aged vaccination programme in a safe and inclusive manner, working within the NMC code of conduct.

  • Plan and organise immunisation sessions in schools and where necessary, alternative community settings and clients homes.
  • Deliver the school age immunisation programme in line with current medicines management policy and procedures.
  • Provide advice, guidance and support to schools to achieve the successful delivery of the school based immunisation programme.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with NMC standards.
  • Assist with data collection and the completion of statistical information
