A Monday-Friday 9am-5pm working pattern is just one of the attractions this opportunity provides. We are recruiting to our innovative and compassionate Reading school nursing team and are looking for a highly motivated practitioner with a warm personality and great people skills.
This is a term time only role, with a 30 hour working week although we would be open to discussion and so would encourage you to contact us on the details below if you are unsure whether to apply!
Working within the Reading area to deliver core and targeted services to children aged 5-19 and their families, you will require excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work in partnership with other teams and agencies, along with great communication skills and a passion for working with children and families whilst being able to adapt to continuing change.
Work base: Whitley Health & Social Services Centre, 268 Northumberland Avenue, Reading RG2 7PJ
Hours: 30 hours term time (39 weeks per year), can be discussed further at interview
Parking: Staff parking is available on site free of charge.
Main duties of the job

Undertake in depth health assessments for Children in Care, children who are subject to a Child Protection Plan and vulnerable children, and work according to the Berkshire LSCB Policies and Procedures.
