Dental Nurse

Hours: 37.5hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08.30 -17.00 (part time may be considered)

Salary Range: £27,857 to £30,570 - depending on experience (Band 4)

Location:Skimped Hill Dental Clinic, Bracknell (consideration will be given to the possibility of being based at one of our other clinics).

We are looking for a skilledDental Nurse to join our team and provide high-quality dental care. You will be passionate about patient care, have excellent communication skills and thrive in a dynamic and supportive team environment. In this role you will gain excellent experience and have the opportunity in treating patients under sedation and general anaesthetic.

Our service has seven clinics ranging from Thatcham to Langley with over 45 members of staff. We specialise in treating patients with additional needs including children, people with learning and physical disabilities and the elderly and are equipped with on-site hoistsand a wheelchair tipper/bariatric bench.

You will primarily be based at Skimped Hill in Bracknell with the expectation to work in other clinics/hospitals and in the domiciliary settings. It is essential that you either have access to a vehicle for work purposes or can travel to meet service needs.

Main duties of the job

  • You will work in a multi-surgery clinic, having support from other colleagues.
  • You willassistin the provision ofdental care for children withhigh levelsof dental diseaseand children and adults withadditionalneeds.
  • You will have the opportunity to provide care in domiciliary settings.
  • With the appropriate training you will have the opportunity assistin the provision of care forpatients under inhalation sedation.
  • You will have the opportunity to assist on general aesthetic sessions.
