An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band3 administrator to join our safeguarding team. The post holder will provide general support and secretarial duties to the team of Named Professionals for Safeguarding, to allow the effective operation of the safeguarding service by providing organisational and administrative skills.

The post is 30 hours, the post is flexible working in the office at St Marks Hospital and home working.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Named Professionals using Microsoft Office suite of packages and supplies ordering as required.

  • Carry out administrative work relating to the specific needs of the team by developing and implementing effective administration processes to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office.

  • To provide administrative support to the Mental Capacity Act Lead.

  • To prioritise and manage own workload ensuring that urgent work is accommodated, and deadlines met.

  • To manage incoming telephone calls and messages for the safeguarding team and the email inbox.

  • To access patient records using clinical systems, adhering to the Trust's patient confidentiality guidelines.

  • To manage and distribute highly confidential information to a range of organisations.
