We have an exciting opportunity to step into a Band 7 senior role as our 0-19 Operational Lead.

Managing the School Nursing and Health Visiting Services in Bracknell, you'll provide visible and professional leadership. Our service works in a vibrant community setting and you'll be passionate about this being accessible for all.

  • Working closely with Children's Service Leads to support the 0-19 service as a whole.

Our service operates Monday to Friday 9.00 to 17.00. We welcome full time application and part time applications for a minimum of 30 hours.

Main duties of the job

  • To be a proactive member of the0-19management team to ensure that best practice and learning isdisseminatedacross the workforce quickly and effectively.
  • Lead on workforce planning and recruitment alongside the service lead,demonstratingan in-depth knowledge and understanding of the uniqueness of the locality.
  • Ensure the development of the workforce, promoting a culture of lifelong learning, reflectivepracticeand personal development.
  • Take responsibility for the service activity performanceidentifyingpotential risks andinitiatingaction plans to minimise these.
  • To lead by example, displayinga coaching style of leadership that mirrors the ethos and core values of the organisation which inspires and empowers staff.
  • To act independently and on own initiative, settinga professional and positive example and encourages all team members to be innovative and adopt a problem-solving approach.
  • Enable and empower all team members to take responsibility for service improvement by developing a culture of innovation and participation in the development of the service and service redesign.
