Job summary

We are looking for a Slough Community Nursing Team Senior Administrator.

As a Senior Administrator, you will support the Community Nursing service to deliver care to people in their own homes by providing effective administrative and secretarial support to the team. We offer a supportive environment with opportunities for further career development.

Main duties of the job

  • Support the effective operation of the Community Nursing Service by providing organisational, administrative, and secretarial support to the team.

  • Be the first port of call for any IT issues within departments

  • Liaise effectively and professionally with all levels of staff, external organisations, and the public, dealing with confidential information in an appropriate manner.

  • Supervise the work of junior administrative staff

  • Maintain an inventory of medical equipment held by the team, liaise with estates over the maintenance of medical devices and record training on medical devices as required

  • Plan and organise meetings and events which may be internal or external to the service, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made. Attend designated meetings, taking and transcribing minutes
