A Monday-Friday working pattern is just one of the attractions of a PWP Team Lead role with NHS Berkshire Talking Therapies.
We are looking for two qualified Band 6 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Team Leads to join our friendly team. We cover six localities across the county, all within about 40 minutes of our central hubs in Bracknell and Reading and you will be supporting multiple localities. These will be permanent posts.
We are a Talking Therapies service that leads on innovation, boasting a preceptorship programme for our staff, allowing them to have a clear progression plan and develop in their career with us.
Main duties of the job
- Providing high-volume, low-intensity interventions using cognitive behavioural therapy for mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
- The opportunity to work closely with the Step 2 Quality and Training lead to support the clinical caseloads of the PWPs through case management and clinical supervision, and manage their workloads through Line Management Supervision in order to assist the PWP Team Co-ordinator to manage waiting lists and capacity within the low intensity service.
- Opportunities to support those with long-term health conditions and those with employment issues alongside our fantastic employment support team.
- Opportunities to support a diverse population of patients.
- Supporting the facilitation of group sessions.
