Job summary
We are looking to recruit a dynamic leader to lead our library and knowledge service into the future and work as part of our clinical education team and wider Trust stakeholder services. This flexible hybrid role allows you to work 3 days on-site in the library at prospect park hospital, providing visible leadership and support and 1 day flexibly from home. This post also provides a fantastic opportunity for professional development and system working involving ICS and NHSE partnerships.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work closely with Trust-wide key stakeholders (learners, workforce, and clinical/operational/professional leads) and provide highly visible leadership to Trust Library and Knowledge Service (LKS). They will be responsible for the line management, development, modernisation and delivery of the high quality, accessible and technology enhanced LKS. They will ensure all staff and students across the organisation receive support and guidance with their Research, Evidence and Knowledge needs including conducting systematic literature searches, appraising/synthesising/summarising evidence to develop specialist knowledge repositories, make practice improvement decisions and implementation of best practice to improve patient care. Postholder will be required to work 3days in the Prospect Park Hospital library, attend face to face meetings and will be able to work 1 day remotely. The post holder is responsible managing library budget, delivering library strategy, data reporting, r quality assurance and delivery of Plan on a Page and other service improvement and wellbeing action plans.
