Secondment Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced CAMHS Professional to co-ordinate and deliver an evidence based - training & Development provision across the BOB, BSW and Frimley CAMHS services.

Working closely with the existing colleagues, national and regional NHSE teams and stakeholders, this will involve understanding and using policy, strategy, evidence, data, and intelligence to design, deliver and evaluate a training offer that meets the needs of all clinical and non-clinical staff working within CAMHS. It will include induction packages for CAMHS and Neuro Diversity programmes of work for the new and present workforce.

The Post holder along with the Academy Lead will embed a system of support, relevant training, and supervision for All CAMHS Clinical, SW, Non-Clinical and AHPS colleagues across BOB, BSW and Frimley CAMHS services.

The post holder will also contribute to the development of a strategy and process for staff wishing to undertake training that leads to a professional qualification.

The post is 22,5 hours but we are happy to discuss this with any applicant .It is a flexible working post and the majority of the work could be from Home

Main duties of the job

The post holder will:

Work across BOB, BSW and Frimley CAMHS services corporate and clinical teams to develop and drive forward a robust Training offer for CAMHS Workforce in the trust, incorporating governance, quality, safety, education, and training.

Support the CAMHS Academy across the region to ensure their ongoing effectiveness and sustainability.

Support and enable workforce supply and transformation, and associated workforce planning, in meeting the aims of the NHS Long Term Plan, NHS workforce plan.

Provide programme leadership, governance, and support for agreed NHSE priority areas.

Working in partnership with multi-professional programmes and structures across the organisation and system.

Provide collaborative professional leadership regional and nationally. This will involve extensive engagement and liaison with clinical and professional leaders, employers, education providers, professional bodies, and others on NHSE developments for CAMHS workforce.

We are looking for dynamic, creative, and highly organised individuals with a proven record of delivering inclusive, creative training and collaborating with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds and varying support needs.

The work will be dominantly on Teams, but we can also offer hybrid working in this role, meaning that the successful candidate can work from a mixture of venues including home, BOB offices.

Essential

  • Holds a professional Registration (NMC/HCP) Master's Level or equivalent level of experience.
  • Evidence of a portfolio of knowledge, skills, and professional development
  • Recognised to have extensive knowledge of specialist area acquired through postgraduate education or equivalent.

Desirable

  • Leadership qualification and or experience
  • Mentorship or teaching qualification / workplace assessor
