Job summary
We are looking to fill an Assistant Psychologist post within Children, Families and All Age Services (CFAA)
The post will be based within the Autism Assessment Team (AAT) and ADHD Team, across East Berkshire (Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead and Bracknell). You will be part of an experienced multi-disciplinary team including psychologists, psychiatrists, speech and language therapists, clinical nurse specialists, occupational therapists, mental health practitioners and assistant psychologists.
The Assistant Psychologist will receive fortnightly supervision on a group basis from a Clinical Psychologist (alongside several other Assistant Psychologists already in post).
Main duties of the job
- Administration/scoring of quantitiveBehaviour tests (Qb) & Conners 3 questionnaires used in the assessment of ADHD (equipment, software and full training provided)
- Assist in triage and management of referrals to both teams
- Assist in diagnostic assessment by carrying out interviews with staff in educational setting, conducting school observations & writing reports for the diagnostic team
- To be part of the clinical moderation team on the digital support platform SHaRON (Support, Hope and Resources Online Network)
- Carrying out clinically related administration, audits, data collection and/or projects as needed
