Job summary

We have a wonderful Band 4 opportunity to work as a full time (37.5 hours) Senior Administrator in our Neurodiversity Service which sits within the Children, Families and All Ages Service. This role will be working across the Autism Assessment Team and the ADHD Team.

You will join a friendly and supportive service, who are passionate and forward thinking about neurodiversity. You will work as part of a welcoming administration team to support the effective operation of the CFAA CYP Neurodiversity Service. You will provide flexible support as needed across the service and will provide the required administrative support to ensure that clinical services are delivered efficiently, and children, young people and families receive a seamless and timely service. The post holder is expected to act on their own initiative on a daily basis to ensure the effective running of the service, prioritising their own workload as required and supporting others to do the same.

Work base: Erlegh House, University of Reading, Earley Gate (RG6 6BZ) - parking available on site

Main duties of the job

  • Support to Band 5 Business Support Manager to provide comprehensive, high-quality leadership in all administrative activity, to ensure
  • smooth running of administrative functions and providing flexible support according to service pressures and needs
  • Provide a central point of contact and day to day lead role for admin staff, ensuring that all admin staff receive the required support and
  • training to carry out their roles effectively
  • Investigate and resolve any day-to-day issues or problems and report any significant issues affecting service delivery to Band 5
  • Business Support Manager /service leads as appropriate
