Job summary

We are looking for part-time CAMHS Lead Administrator, working from 9am - 5pm each day (Wed-Fri). You would be part of a small, friendly team of administrators in our offices at the University of Reading campus, with free parking. You will need to have experience of managing others, have previous administrative experience & confidence in using Microsoft office. You will be the first point of contact for the Clinical Team Lead(s), Consultant Psychiatrists & Clinicians.

Main duties of the job

  • To lead and support the Specialist Community and Pathways Administration Team by coordinating day to day administration tasks.
  • 1:1 supervision and appraisals for the administration team.
  • Using e Roster system to input annual leave requests and sickness absence.
  • Liaising with Estates/IT and other services to resolve daily issues.
  • To support the Business Support Manager, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
  • Helping with the recruitment and induction of new administrative staff and supporting new starters/clinical trainees.
  • Preparing documentation and collating data and Agenda for the Team Business Meeting.
  • Minute taking and distribution, following up on actions and being aware of meeting deadlines.
  • Input confidential correspondence, produce requested reports and other documentation to a high standard using software packages within an agreed timescale.
  • You will also be required to work on your own initiative and demonstrate a willingness to help others as a key member of the team.
  • The ability to build effective relationships, with a flexible approach to work is essential.
  • You will be expected to be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines in order to fulfil the requirements of the post.
  • Carry out day-to-day organisation of systems to ensure the smooth running of the administration team.

  • Knowledge of administration and/or office procedures.
