Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic nurse to join our well-established Rapid Response Respiratory Team at Warrington & Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a full time position we work shifts to cover form 08:30 to 19:30 7 days a week. 37.5 hours per week
We are a team of Respiratory Nurses and Respiratory Physiotherapists who care for patients in their own home with acute respiratory disease. The main aim is to prevent hospital admission or support early discharge.
We also run a very effective Acute Respiratory Illness Virtual Ward (ARI VW). "Innovation and Improvement Award Finalist 2024".

Main duties of the job
The job is a Band 7 for someone with a NMP certificate but if you do not have the certificate, we can arrange for you to do the course, the post will therefore be a band 6 training position, as soon as you have completed your NMP, you will become band 7
Assess, plan implement and evaluate programmes of evidence-based care.
Participate in the education for patients and staff.
Work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of the patients and their families.
Participate in improvement of services and the quality-of-care provision.
