An exciting opportunity has arisen for a forward thinking, dynamic and
resilient Ward Manager to lead the brilliant nursing team on the Captain Sir
Tom Moore (CSTM) Ward at the Halton General Hospital site.
CSTM Ward offers holistic care to those requiring elective surgery and post
operative recovery and rehabilitation following orthopaedic surgery, ambulatory
trauma, Breast, ENT and Urology . The ward environment is busy, challenging and
fast paced but also very rewarding.
A proportion of our patients are
living with dementia so having a keen interest in ensuring that this group of
patients receive the best care available will be a must for the successful
candidate
Main duties of the job
As Ward Manager you will be approachable, supportive, and dedicated to
achieving excellence.
Smooth running of the ward, delivery of key performance metrics,
recruitment and retention, individual performance reviews, auditing, finance,
and quality improvement are just a few of the areas you will be involved in
managing on a day-to-day basis.
If you are a visible role model with excellent communication skills and
sound clinical knowledge who is efficient with their time and extremely organised,
