Hepatology Nurse Specialist

Job summary

We are seeking a Hepatology Nurse to work within a team, undertaking nurse-led Liver clinics and working autonomously once competent, whilst also providing support to the staff on the liver/gastro ward in managing patients with complex liver disease.

The successful candidate will also manage liver surveillance patients, increase clinic capacity and support with a reduction of the waiting list.

NB. The post is offered on a Secondment basis and authorisation for secondment must be sought from your current manager prior to submitting your application.

Main duties of the job

Involvement in the set up and improvement of the HCC surveillance service.

Management of the HCC surveillance patients in a CNS lead HCC surveillance service.

Providing additional clinic capacity.

Reducing the current waiting list
