Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Department Nurse Manager to lead our Children and Young People's Outpatient Services.(this includes Children's outpatient's department based at Warrington Hospital and the PART service based at Bath street)
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic nurse leader to oversee and develop a high-performing service that delivers excellent, family-centred care. You will provide visible and compassionate leadership, ensuring safe and effective clinical practice, high-quality patient experience, and continuous improvement within the department.

Main duties of the job
- Provide day-to-day operational and professional leadership for nursing and clinical support staff.
- Ensure high standards of care, safety, and safeguarding are maintained across all outpatient services.
- Work collaboratively with medical, AHP, and administrative teams to deliver efficient, patient-centred services.
- Lead service improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental development plans.
- Manage staff resources, including rotas, appraisals, and performance management.
- Support staff wellbeing, professional development, and continuous learning.
