Theatre Team Leader

Job summary

As a part of the Halton Band 6 team, you will provide the highest standard of care. You will have direct management responsibility including; manging your own team, PDR's, rostering and allocations and the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of elective perioperative care programs. You will be able to demonstrate a high standard of clinical practice, be preferably ALS trained or be prepared to undertake the course and have a passion for teaching and mentoring as we are a teaching hospital.

You will also work across site at Warrington Hospital as service needs require, where in addition to our Surgical Specialties; we support Children's surgery and patients who require enhanced clinical support.

Main duties of the job

To ensure effective communication within the team and across disciplinary and organisational boundaries. The theatre team leader forms the point of coordination between the surgeon, anaesthetist, anaesthetic support practitioner and the scrub team within a theatre'
