Job summary
We are looking to appoint middle grade
doctors to join our team of 5 Urology Consultants. The team will consist of 5 substantive
Consultants, 1 Locum Consultant and 4 Specialty doctors. In addition, there are
specialist Urology nurses and Clinical Nurse specialists.
The Urology team are forward thinking
and work together to support our patients. There are various transformation
projects currently being undertaken to redesign patient pathways, increase
efficiency and improve patient outcomes and experience.
The Consultants are committed to
learning and development of middle grade doctors.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting time to join the
team due to the transformational projects that are currently taking place.
The post includes delivery of
outpatient clinics in a supportive role to the consultants and may include
independent delivery of clinics dependent on level of experience and skill.
The post will include theatre sessions
to support the consultants and develop individual learning.
Training will be provided to support
independent working in certain areas.
Warrington is a great place to work with
close working relationships with supporting clinical and administrative staff.
Active participation in clinical
governance and audit will be encouraged and supported.
About us
The team deliver clinical activity on
all 3 sites of the Trust, Warrington, Halton and CSTM.
There is also a bespoke UIU based on
the Warrington site which has recently opened and allows Urological procedures
and hot clinics to be undertaken in a designated area supported by Urology
nursing staff.
Exciting developments are currently
taking place with new treatments and service redesign to improve patient
pathways and experience.
