Job summary
We are seeking Catering Assistants within our department at Warrington Hospital. The shift is to work in the morning &evening serving & delivering patients meals.
You should have experience within a large-scale catering environment, training will also be provided, a good knowledge of food hygiene is also essential.
A positive attitude to carry out all duties. The role is physically demanding due to the movement of our food shuttles throughout the shift.
Main duties of the job
You will also carry out cleaning tasks within the department operating machinery, e.g., moving of buckets of water and cleaning equipment to meet the needs of the department also the movement of our food trollies. You will be responsible for speaking with wards and communicating any information with the supervisor on duties of any requirements that all wards may need.
To drive tugs daily within the hospital also externally to deliver patient meals.
The ability to work to a high standard is essential.
Joining our large professional team, you will need to have a positive attitude and excellent enthusiasm and flexibility. You will attend relevant training courses, including Trust mandatory training for your own personal development and to maintain and improve standards within the department.
