Job summary

Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHs Foundation Trust are seeking to recruit a suitably experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Craftsperson - Mechanical, to join our estates department.

The post holder will be mechanically biased, have the skills and knowledge to work as part of the estates team to deliver a comprehensive estates maintenance service, ensuring compliance with Trust standards, procedures, and legislation across the estate portfolio.

You will join and dynamic multidiscipline team, operating in a busy, fast-paced environment that provides a diverse workload, you will have the support and opportunities through training to develop new skills to enhance your personal development.

Main duties of the job

To undertake reactive and planned maintenance, service, test and inspection of complex engineering plant and equipment, such as heating and ventilation, water systems and other mechanical systems, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard and in compliance with statutory regulations.

You will work alongside other trades to deliver a quality service using CAFM and other specialist software systems. You will join our out-of-hours on call service for which you will receive additional payments.
