Maintenance Assistant (Water Safety)

Job summary

Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are seeking to recruit a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our estates department.

The post holder will be a skilled operative and have previous experience in an engineering or building discipline and will have the skills and knowledge to work as part of the estates team to deliver a comprehensive estates maintenance service, ensuring compliance with Trust standards, procedures and legislation across the estate portfolio

Main duties of the job

To undertake routine and statutory maintenance tasks to building systems, water compliance, building fabric maintenance, medical gases, engineering plant and general maintenance.

The role supports multi-skilled trades on a range of maintenance works and is expected to carry out a limited range of unsupervised skilled tasks and utilise the Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system and other specialist software to ensure a joined up quality service is delivered.
