Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Permanent Band 2 Security Officer to join a well-established team of Security Officers.

The team are dedicated, enthusiastic members of the Warrington and Halton Teaching Trust wanting to excel in providing the best security support to all who visit, work or patient of the trust.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will assist other Security Officers in detecting and preventing crime, providing a safe and secure environment at the Trust.

You will deal with first line enquiries/complaints and be required to respond to emergency incidents in a timely manner.

You will also be responsible for the delivery and collection of medical equipment to and from the hospital wards.

You will be responsible for the monitoring of CCTV, making sure all is operational and reporting any defaults to the correct parties.

Due to a wide range of duties within this role, you must be able to prioritise and manage your own workload. Previous experience in security would be desirable. Full training will be provided for the successful candidates

About us

Security work as a team, providing a 24hrs security service, working across both sites when the need arises.

This consists of 4 shifts of 3 officers on each shift at the Warrington site plus 4 shifts with 2 officers each shift at the Halton site, covering days and nights.
