Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and highly motivated individual with experience in Trauma & Orthopaedics, who has the desire to develop their clinical skills within the Inpatient Orthopaedic Occupational Therapy Team, which covers both Trauma patients on the Warrington site and Elective patients at the Captain Sir Tom Moore Building at Halton, along with the support of the existing Clinical Lead and the Clinical Team Manager.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be involved primarily with timely assessment, treatment and discharge planning on the Warrington site for trauma patients and delivery of our Multi-Disciplinary Joint School at Halton. The team provides a seven-day service across both Warrington Hospital and the CSTM at Halton Hospital site. As such, the post holder will at times, be required to work on both sites and will be required to input into our weekend working rota.

As an experienced and motivated individual, the post holder will work as part of our Inpatient Orthopaedic Occupational Therapy Team and be able to demonstrate Trauma & Orthopaedic knowledge and skills and excellent team working qualities. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and as part of the Multi-disciplinary Team and be able to communicate at a high level with various members of the MDT daily.
