Job summary

The Head of Compliance will work alongside the Director of Governance to deliver the compliance agenda Trust wide and provide assurance and support to the wider departmental agenda. This includes leading the CQC preparedness agenda, internal mock inspections and engagement with all regulators as required. You will work closely with the Head of Compliance and the Associate Director of Quality to triangulate information ensuring that focus for compliance is appropriately proportioned. The successful candidate will work with all disciplines across the Trust to achieve its ambition of becoming an ‘Outstanding’ organisation currently rated ‘Good’. This role will also be responsible for supporting all external inspections Trust wide, leading projects identified by the Director of Governance. WHH is a forward thinking organisation, passionate about patient care, staff welfare and staff development. The successful candidate will work within a very supported environment within the governance, quality academy and existing compliance team.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role will oversee Trust wide compliance including CQC preparedness, mock inspections and all external inspections. To undertake high level reports with an ability to triangulate data to optimise patient safety and service improvements. To support the Director of Governance and lead projects across the portfolio.
