Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal skills to lead on the Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) role at the Trust on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract to Cover Maternity Leave of the current postholder at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the Trust maintains its compliance with national standards for emergency preparedness and business continuity and for providing specialist advice and guidance in the response to incidents. Developing, maintaining and testing EPRR specific policies, procedures and plans in conjunction with key stakeholders from across the Trust. leading the compliance against national EPRR standards. Implementing and managing the Trust's Business Continuity plans. Developing and delivering EPRR specific training to staff from across the organisation

The post holder will be a key role in ensuring that emergency response documentation is current, up to date and in accordance with the Civil Contingencies Act.
