Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Project
Manager to join our ePR Paperless Care Programme. You will have demonstrable
experience in leading successful change initiatives, project management skills
and a passion for developing digital solutions to support our organisation.
This is an exciting time to join our
team during a period of rapid development and continuous improvement. You will
be required to negotiate, problem solve, think strategically and need strong
communication skills to network and build effective relationships with a
variety of stakeholders.
You will be a team player and able to
work with senior managerial and clinical staff, having excellent interpersonal,
communication and IT skills. This is a challenging but exciting position and
support is available in order for you to succeed.
Main duties of the job
The ePR Digital Programme Team lead on
digital delivery and optimisation giving clinical colleagues the tools to
access information to support improved patient care and experiences. The team
are responsible for general business as usual [BAU] activities and the
overall day to day performance. Our core function is system enhancements,
project delivery, upgrades and planned/unplanned downtime.
As ePR Project Manager you would be supporting
this complex but exciting programme of work. You will work on various
collaboration projects and be recognised as a project manager within a
reliable, high performing and customer-focused digital service, supporting the
needs of the organisation and playing a key role in the journey towards
providing Outstanding healthcare services for our patients
About us
Most of the team have 20+ years
experience working at WHH, so you are in good hands. We have an agile working
approach within the department. Work ethic amongst the team is second to none.
The majority of the team live in the Warrington and Halton areas, and this
shows in their enthusiasm and commitment to their work ethos that they want to
support staff and patients of their local hospital to enhance user experience
and patient safety through digitally enabled systems and processes.
We ensure maintenance and delivery of
a consistent and responsive service to our ePR users over numerous core
clinical systems. We work closely with clinicians, senior managers, executive
members, external system suppliers and NHS providers including GPs, Community
pharmacists and Midwives to align the digital roadmap, projects and service delivery
for the organisational vision and mission statements. The current programme
sees the ePR and project teams working with trust colleagues to identify
benefits with the introduction of new clinical and administrative applications
with a view to improved performance. Some of this may be in the form of release
management of core systems and the subsequent business continuity and disaster

Provide facilitative resource to the
organisation to promote and support service redesign and quality improvements
that are required.

- PRINCE2 Foundation and practitioner

- Recent demonstrable experience in the successful delivery of service improvement and IT projects using recognised methodologies
- Experience of translating business requirements into information/system requirements, and producing other documentation associated with the implementation of IT systems. E.g. Business Cases
- Experience preparing and presenting process maps, both orally, diagrammatically and in writing
- Experience of change management, workforce and service redesign acquired through training or experience.
- Experience of supporting clinical and non-clinical colleagues in radical change processes.
- Experience of project management, either in clinical or administrative roles
