IT Deployment EngineerFixed Term till March 2024
An exciting opportunity has arisen
for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Deployment Engineer
to join the Digital Services Desktop
Team on a fixed term basis.
The perfect candidate will be
analytical and have excellent customer service skills with a calm and courteous
manner and be able to communicate with end users and colleagues alike.
Youll be working primarily on the
trusts device replacement programme, but youll be part of, and have support
from and interaction with the wider Desktop Support Team.
Main duties of the job
The main aspect of the role is to take part in our 2023-2024
technical refresh programme.
Utilizing tools such as Microsoft Configuration Manager
(SCCM), PXE Boot and Active Directory to image and maintain the latest Dell
PC/Laptops to be deployed into the trust to replace older out of warranty machines.
Keeping the trust asset database up to date with the newly implemented
machines that will be imaged by yourself.
Seeing that the older machines are recycled in a manner that
abides by the Trusts Information Governance processes and procedures.

Image out of the box desktop computer devices ready for deployment, utilising tools such as PXE Boot and
Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM)
Deploy and install IT assets to user requirements

Respond to Service Desk tickets relating to recently deployed equipment
