Job summary
A vacancy has arisen for a part-time Band 4 experienced Medical Secretary to work within the Rheumatology Department, Medical Care Clinical Business Unit, based at Halton Hospital.
The main duties of the post will be to provide an efficient secretarial support to the Rheumatology Team. The role is busy and varied and will work alongside the Medical Secretaries who work for the Rheumatology Consultants. In the absence of colleagues, you should be flexible in order to undertake work from Consultants as and when required, which could be on the Warrington site.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate previous experience in a Medical secretarial role.
They must possess excellent communication and secretarial skills, including word processing and audio typing. The ability to effectively organise workload is essential. Knowledge of the Winscribe Dictation System/Lorenzo computer system and medical terminology is also essential.
