Band 2 (subject to AfC banding)

34.5 hours per week to be worked

  • 9:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday
  • 9:00am to 4:00pm Friday

Do you enjoy meeting new people every day? Are you a confident PC user who enjoys working in systems rather than on paper?

If so, we'd love to hear from you!

Joining our Recruitment Teams, you will gain a great understanding of how we recruit new people to the NHS. You will be instrumental in making our new employee journey seamless and efficient, providing support to Recruitment colleagues in a busy office environment.

The role is office based at Warrington Hospital, working Monday to Friday. This is to ensure we are available every day for our candidate appointment system.

If you have experience of recruitment (preferably NHS but not essential), a working knowledge of Microsoft and similar packages, together with the desire to leave our new employees with a great first impression of working at the Trust, complete your application without delay........

Main duties of the job

You would meet new recruits and then ensure their information is inputted correctly and accurately into our NHS systems. Excellent customer service is paramount to our service and that can be achieved via the telephone, e-mail or in person, so these skills are really important! We have two great teams who deal with all Medical and non-Medical vacancies in the Trust and you would provide support to both.

A full job description is attached to this vacancy information to give you an idea what your typical day may be!

About us

Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a caring and compassionate organisation that is both ambitious and innovative. We are committed to delivering the best outcomes for our patients and providing a positive experience of our staff. We aspire to be outstanding for our patients, our communities and our staff and are committed to being a great place to receive healthcare, work and learn.

Straddling the neighbouring boroughs of Warrington and Halton we are part of the Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care system. Our hospitals are ideally situated to meet the growing healthcare needs of the 330,000 population of these boroughs.

Warrington Hospital is home to our emergency, critical care and maternity services, Halton Hospital is focused on elective procedures and the Runcorn Urgent Treatment Centre, although many services are offered at both sites and in community hubs.

A CQC-rated 'good' organisation with 'outstanding' features, we are working towards university hospital status, having achieved teaching hospital status in 2019.

Our workforce of nearly 5,000 across both sites comprises more than 50 nationalities. We strive to be an equal, diverse and inclusive employer, which is recognised as a pioneer in its equality, diversity and inclusion work. The Trust is proud to have achieved numerous external accreditations and is working towards achieving the Anti-Racist Organisation Framework, recognising the importance of anti-racism in all that we do.
