Job summary

Main duties of the job

  • Supporting the Lead ED pharmacist in delivering pharmaceutical care within the acute and emergency pathways
  • Be present and active within the clinical MDTs
  • Develop professional skills and expertise in Emergency Medicine
  • Undertake duties at specialist level within the clinical, dispensing, medicines information, with a focus on Urgent & Emergency Medicine.
  • Provide educational teaching and training to support clinical colleagues to comply with NICE, CQC and medicine optimisation strategies
  • WHH pharmacy department is evolving. We are committed to providing a positive learning environment where you will be supported to innovate and deliver high quality pharmacy services. You will be supported to develop your personal and professional skills through formal and informal teaching, including independent prescribing. As part of the specialist MDT you will be essential in delivering clinical pharmacy services, with an expectation of integrating into clinical ward rounds.
