Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Halton Intermediate Care and Frailty Service as a Senior therapy assistant. The Post Holder will be part working across Halton and providing Therapy intervention in a variety of settings -

- Community Rapid Response / Frailty Team
- Reablement Team
- Intermediate Care Unit
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Therapy Assistant, you will be based with a multidisciplinary Therapy team to provide Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy interventions in a variety of inpatient and community settings. You will receive competency-based training in both Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. Following this you will continue to receive support from our Therapy team to enable you to deliver high quality therapy interventions to the best of your ability.
The successful applicant will have previous experience working in a healthcare environment and must be a good team worker, flexible, empathetic, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with patients, carers, and other members of the multi-disciplinary teams.
