Job summary
Warrington & Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a 6-month Locum Consultant Surgeon position specialising in Trauma & Orthopaedics, with a focus on lower limb arthroplasty. The successful candidate will provide both elective and trauma on-call services at our Warrington and Halton sites. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dedicated team, contributing to high standards of patient care and supporting our teaching and research activities. Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC and listed on the Specialist Register and completed a recognised lower limb fellowship.
Main duties of the job
1. Clinics, 1 x Fracture Clinic, 2 x Elective
2. 3 Operating theatre lists (delivered flexibly)
3. Participation in Governance and Audit
4. Contribution to the teaching of trainees.
