Join Warrington & Halton Hospital and be part of a team of 12 consultants sharing responsibilityof Obstetricsand Gynaecology with a recent Maternity CQC rating of 'Good' (2023).
Lead the service in becoming a Gynaecology cancer unit, developing an outstanding service for the women and people of Warrington and Halton.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity to be the lead for minimal access surgery and work alongside an enthusiastic team of consultants.
The successful candidate will join the team sharing responsibility for obstetrics and gynaecology patients and helping to further develop services as well as supervising junior staff, participating in audit and clinical governance and supporting administrative and managerial responsibilities.

On-Call : The post is also 1 in 11, on the consultant non-resident on-call rota, with an expectation to be available within 30 minutes of being called to attend. No other activities are timetabled during on call.

- MRCOG or appropriate specialist qualification
- Relevant CCT or equivalent ('equivalence' must be confirmed by PMETB/GMC by date of AAC)
- Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of AAC
