Job summary

An exciting administration opportunity has arisen for a 6 month fixed term/secondment period until the end of February 2026 to work within our Community Mental Health team in Exmouth, whose aim is to support the local community with their mental health needs.

We are seeking a part time receptionist with excellent communication, customer service and IT skills to join our team at St Johns Court, Exmouth.

The position is 22.5 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

  • Greeting and liaising with patients, clinicians and external agencies
  • Email and telephone correspondence
  • Manage meeting room bookings
  • Scanning and uploading of patient records
  • Ordering of stationary, uniform etc
  • Logging of estates issues
  • Issuing of keys
  • Post/Deliveries
  • Providing administrative support

Knowledge

  • Intermediate IT skills in Microsoft Office Packages, ie Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of a range of administrative procedures including diary management, arranging appointments and creating electronic records/ using electronic filing systems
  • Ability to manage diverse workload whilst dealing with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to work under pressure
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
