Job summary

Your role will be to provide support to patients and staff members who come and visit Haydons Court Community Mental Health Services. As a volunteer you will be based in reception. You will engage with visitors and patients as they arrive. You will guide, give assurance of their appointments and you will also receive training on how to answer common questions around who they are seeing. You will also be given information to distribute as required.

Main duties of the job

Key tasks:

  • Be a professional and welcoming presence at the reception desk
  • Provide up to date information
  • Signpost visitors and patients to the relevant waiting area.
