Job summary

We are looking for an efficient and experienced administrator to support the South Hams Mental Health Team at Leatside Surgery.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced administrator with excellent IT, communication, organisational and management skills.

Working in partnership with the Clinical Team Manager and clinical colleagues we welcome applications from individuals who can demonstrate a commitment to delivering high quality administration and leadership skills, with excellent IT, communication and office management in an efficient and timely manner.

This is a part time role, working 22.5 hours a week, we are flexible around the days and times worked, however, we do require the successful candidate to work Mondays and preferably Fridays.

Main duties of the job

  • Lead and manage the administrative team, ensuring efficient and effective work flow responding to demand.
  • Support the Team Managers in daily administrative tasks and strategic planning.
  • Advocate for and lead the team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Ensure all administrative processes meet the high standards and values of the trust.
  • Utilise IT and office systems, including System 1 and Microsoft Office - MS Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook are essential.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and staff.
  • Develop and implement office management procedures to improve efficiency.

  • ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence). Shorthand, speed writing or audio typing.
