We are excited to be advertising for a Band 6 Specialist Practitioner and Supervisor
This role is a 1 year fixed term post to support the development of the Childrens Wellbeing Practitioners (CWPs) who work within the mild-moderate remit of childrens mental health. The role will sit within the Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) early intervention pathway and will entail the supervision of the CWPs alongside screening and supporting with referrals. This is an exciting opportunity to develop the CWP team and have a pivotal role in the support and supervision of the service. We are ideally looking for someone who has already completed an IAPT supervision course.
Main duties of the job
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Specialist Practitioner and Supervisor to join the CFHD MHST and CWP team. As the Specialist Practitioner and Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to provide clinical supervision and guidance to our team members, ensuring the highest standard of care for our clients. You will conduct regular supervision sessions, offering support, advice, and feedback to enhance professional development and maintain clinical excellence. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices, staying up-to-date with the latest research and interventions in mental health and child wellbeing. In this role, you will also collaborate with other stakeholders, participating in case consultations, multidisciplinary meetings, and fostering effective communication within the teams.
