We are looking for a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to join the Devon Adult Autism Intervention Team. You would be part of a multi disciplinary service that includes Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Psychology and Psychiatry. The team operates a tiered service providing signposting, consultation and profession specific support. The team works alongside teams from mental health and social care across Devon including Plymouth.
Main duties of the job
The role is dynamic and challenging. The team works across the system to support mainstream and specialist services to meet the needs of neurodivergent people who present with complex needs. The post holder would work as part of the Multi Disciplinary Team and receive supervision from a senior psychologist. The post involves working alongside the other members of the MDT in delivering specialist assessment, neuro-affirmative consultations and trauma-informed support and intervention to professionals and teams working with autistic people.
