Job summary
We invite you to join our fantastic pharmacy team in beautiful Devon.
Described by our colleagues as a great team to work alongside, with dedicated support to develop yourself as a pharmacist in community mental health services.
You will be expected to provide patient-facing appointments, provide clinical support and education and ultimately leadership to a variety of core community mental health services. You will be encouraged at every step to become an excellent independent clinician, aspiring to provide advanced clinical practice to the people of Devon.
You will be supported to undertake additional personal developments including RPS and/or CMHP Advanced Practice frameworks.
Main duties of the job
- Work with a small number of community mental health teams as part of a team
- Provide face-to-face outpatient clinics
- Oversee complex prescribing processes e.g. clozapine and long-acting antipsychotics
- Contribute to the wider Pharmacy team service provision
- No weekends /dispensary or on-call commitments
