Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our multidisciplinary Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service in Devon. We are a passionate and growing service which provides specialist care to mothers, with a range of perinatal mental health difficulties, their infants and families, in line with the commitments set out in the NHS Long Term plan.

You will be part of a team of psychologists who work across our community Perinatal Mental Health teams and in our regional Mother and Baby Unit. This community based role includes delivering psychological interventions to individuals and families and supporting staff teams to work in a trauma informed way and consider transgenerational patterns of trauma and attachment.

We are actively engaged in research, and there are excellent opportunities for specialist supervision, training and development within this role.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will work with our community teams across Devon to provide high quality, evidence based, psychological interventions to individuals, parents and infants, couples and families and groups.

The successful candidate will be HCPC registered and eligible for chartered status with the BPS.

Desirable
