Job summary
This highly sought-after post will appeal to those individuals who have successfully completed the Intermediate Family and Systemic Training or CYP IAPT Systemic Training Programs. and have a core profession relevant to working with Young People with mental health difficulties. You have an opportunity to extend and develop your systemic skills through work with individuals and families. You will join the specialist family therapy clinic to offer screen and reflecting team interventions and systemic consultations. You will also be part of the Trust wide systemic forum and have access to internal and external systemic CPD training opportunities. You will be based in a Children and Young People's Mental Health Service working with complex cases including neurodiversity, risk and systemic difficulties.
Although funding cannot be guaranteed, should you wish to continue your systemic training, you can apply for this training opportunity when it comes up.

Main duties of the job
Job Responsibilities:
To join the multi-disciplinary CYPMH Service in the delivery of mental health care and risk assessment to children and young people and their families, including involvement in the multi-disciplinary assessment pathway.
To deal with a range of clients and clinical situations, including those involving emotive communication and the need to apply initiative, tact and persuasion in the face of psychological resistance.
To offer systemically informed advice on clients' psychological care to individuals external to CYPMH working under supervision of an approved systemic supervisor or fully qualified Family / Systemic Psychotherapist.
Act as care coordinator, where appropriate, taking responsibility for initiating planning and review of CYPMH care plans including children and young people, their carers, referring agents and others involved the network of care.
To facilitate clients and families in providing substantive feedback to the service using ROMs, Experience of Service questionnaires and other feedback mechanisms
