Job summary

We are committed to amplifying the voices of the people in our services and their Carers. A fundamental component of this ambition is the recruitment of senior people with lived experience to deepen this cultural commitment in HPFT. If you are someone who has lived experience and experience of working in an organisation like the NHS and understands something of what is required to drive that change, we would very much love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

The key to this role will be managing and supporting the lived experience workforce and promoting the inclusion of the 'user voice' by offering opportunities to be heard and effect change within the Trust. You will also be key to the ongoing strategic delivery of lived experience opportunities within the Trust, and the establishment of an outcome framework for this platform of work. On the inclusion side, the post holder will also contribute to a culture of parity whereby all protected groups are afforded fair and equal treatment in the Trust. You will be based alongside your management colleagues in one of our hubs in the Trust.

We see these roles as operating on the basis of both your lived experience and your competencies in the workplace. In keeping with all posts within HPFT there will be an authentic commitment towards support and development of the postholder.
